Conference Schedule:
Friday, June 2
6:30 pm: Dinner at Luciana's Mexican Restaurant
Saturday, June 3
8:00am: Registration/ Arrival/ Breakfast - at the IU School of Design in the Republic Building
8:30-9:30 am: “Adaptable Reuse" of the Republic Building led by Dane Wallace, a student with the Architecture Program at the IU School of Art, Architecture + Design. Click Here for more details.
9:30-10:30 am: Showing of the movie “Different by Design”: Click Here for more information.
Transfer to the Columbus Visitors Center
11:00-12:00 am: The History of the Cummins Foundation Architecture Program. "The Cummins Foundation Architecture Program"
12:00-1:00 pm: Lunch and tour of the Columbus Visitors Center.
1:00-5:00 pm: Two tours of 2 hours each will be offered. Half of the group will do each tour, then switch. They are:
1) Architectural Highlights Tour (by bus): Click Here for more details (THIS TOUR IS FULL)
2) Miller House and Garden Tour: Click Here for more information
6:30 pm: Dinner at Upland Pumphouse.
Credit: We hope to offer up to 6 AIA CEUs (Some HSW - To be Determined)
Cost for the entire weekend (including meals): $60 for AIA members and guests, $90 for non members.
Hotel Information: Hotel Indigo, Columbus, Indiana
While the deadline to get a hotel at a special rate has past, rooms may still be available by calling (812)375-9100. Tell them you are with AIA Central Kentucky.
