​The Braschs professions are civil engineer and interior designer and they have had many experiences relating to architecture prior to the start of design of their home.

They wanted an architect-designed contemporary home.

The Braschs have a passion about design and have traveled many places to experience excellent architectural/interior design and art.

They had faith that their selected architect would be up to the job to work with them to create their dream home – a comfortable home that immediately informed visitors of their likes and interests.

The architect had worked with Bill Brasch in providing architectural services for the City of Louisville projects in which Bill was the project manager, and had also worked with Pat Brasch on the interior design for his own home.

The Braschs communicated their objective / wants and were very active in the design process. After a false start, the second design concept worked and fit the steep sloped site very well. They and the architect were off and rolling into design development.

The Braschs wanted a comfortable home that immediately informed visitors of their likes and interests. And the design solution had to work with their budget.
