What You Have Accomplished (Qualifications):
- Licensed to practice Architecture in the United States, minimum 5 years’ experience
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis, without sponsorship
- Ability to follow a project through, with some guidance, from inception to completion of construction documents
- Ability to translate complex designs into clear and concise details and construction documents
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Exercises independent judgement, solves problems when encountered
- Must be able to interpret the Client’s needs
- Proficiency in Revit is a must
- Knowledge of LEED rating systems, certification preferred
- Technical fluency so as to address mechanical and structural coordination issues
What Your Role Will Be (Responsibilities):
You will be involved in the design and management of a comprehensive building project from inception to completion.
- On larger projects, you will be a key member of a collaborative team; and on smaller projects you may independently manage all aspects of a project.
- Strong organization skills are essential to balance multiple projects at different stages in the development process, from feasibility studies and concept design, to construction documentation and administration.
- Coordinating and prioritizing resources to assure the timely completion of multiple projects.
- This role is suited for an articulate designer with practical knowledge of local planning and building codes.
- As a strategic communicator and initiator, you will represent the firm to our clients, consultants, contractors, and industry peers, as well as respond to local government agencies during design review and entitlement processes.
