What: Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity –Raise the Roof for the “Good Business” House
Where: 3635 Parthenia Avenue
When:  Wed. March 3 – Sat. March 6 --8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily

How many volunteers needed: We are looking for groups of 5 for each day – Wednesday – Saturday

What to Bring:  Habitat provides all of the tools and materials.  We also have plenty of water on site.  A pair of work gloves is recommended.

What to Wear:  Dress in work clothes appropriate for the weather.  Sturdy shoes are a must – work boots, hiking boots or athletic shoes.  A cap is recommended on hot sunny days.

Lunch:  Lunch is provided during Raise the Roof builds.

Inclement Weather:   It is rare that we cancel a work day due to weather but will do so if we feel the work conditions are unsafe.    We will e-mail or call the team’s leader if we need to cancel due to weather.  Volunteers may also call Habitat’s construction center at 583-0332 if the weather is questionable the morning of your workday.

Release and Waiver of Liability:  Please don’t forget to have everyone bring their release and waiver of liability.  Volunteers under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or legal guardian.  All volunteers must be at least 16.
