NBBJ is seeking a Civic/Commercial Market Leader. This position is multifaceted, but primarily involves leadership in helping to further build our position in the Civic market. The ideal candidate will fulfill three primary roles: business development, project leadership, as well as building teams and mentoring studio members. We are looking for a leader with expertise in the civic market who will reside in our Columbus office while supporting and actively participating in our global practice. This market leader will help NBBJ to continue to build our blossoming civic practice in Columbus, the region and beyond. Requirements include:
• 15+ years of experience in the architecture profession; licensure is preferred • Seen as an expert in the industry; proven performer in developing and wining new Civic and Commercial projects • Develop relationships with potential clients through a deep understanding of their enterprise • Able to provide strategy and vision for proposals and interviews for prospective clients • Effective communication skills and proven ability to enable teams--internally and externally--to work on and execute market-related projects. • Experience developing and executing business development strategies and market content • Successful completion of several significant and complex Civic and/or Commercial projects • Team building and mentoring ability • Understanding and experience in the mid-west regional market
