Architectural in Perspective Series continues.... The Architecture in Prespective Series began with the exhibition of the national ASAI juried show and continued with the informative lecture by keynote speaker David Csont. As the 2-month-long series continues, we now move to the classroom with two opportunities to improve your graphic communication skills. On Friday, October 16, Christopher Bowling will present his Didactic Drawing workshop from 8:30-12:00 noon. Christopher’s classroom presentation is combined with a field drawing exercise, and is an excellent opportunity to further develop your drawing skills. The cost is $30 and includes a sketchbook and supplies. Class size is limited to 15, and reservations are a must. RSVP to Dan Church at wdanchurch@aol.com by Friday, October 9th. Then, on Friday, October 30, John Hawkins will offer a workshop on digital rendering techniques that he uses in his practice. John will share tips and methodologies that he uses to create illustrations for presentations. This free workshop, which will be held from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, includes lunch. (Note time and cost change.) Class size is limited to 40. RSVP to Dan Church at wdanchurch@aol.com by Friday, October 23rd. For more information, check out the Architecture in Perspective tab on the aia-ckc.org website. Reservations for these workshops must be made by emailing “wdanchurch@aol.com”. Don’t miss these rare opportunities to build upon your drawing and rendering skills.
